Another method to raising my state of awareness other than breathwork.

Trance

Music is a form of love that doesn't require a language. You can bring everyone together with simply a speaker. It has the power to connect everyone together, no matter what issues they were dealing with earlier in the day. We can all associate ourselves with music we've heard from the past. A great synchronisation where all problems drop away and unity with everyone begins.

Late 2022, I began to let go of all other genres of music and solely focus on trance/rave as the conscious/sub-conscious attaches itself to the lyrics, and we are not the words, we are greater beings than our everyday spoken words. Words are part of stories and narratives.

Trance contributed heavenly to my visualisation. As you raise your awareness to higher states, you begin to work with the Third Eye and Crown Chakra more.
Third Eye is the energy centre primarily responsible for visualisation, imagination, and inner vision. Located in the centre of the forehead between your eyebrows, it governs your ability to "see" beyond the physical world and is the seat of intuition and mental clarity. Also the seat of concentration during meditation.
Non Chakra talk; essentially speeding up the nervous system, using music.

To explain how separate entities lock into a singular energetic rhythm, Itzhak Bentov popularized a classic physics observation. The Grandfather Clock Analogy; If you place a dozen grandfather clocks in a room and start their pendulums swinging at entirely different times, they will initially tick in a chaotic mess of different rhythms.

However, if you leave the room and return the next day, you will find that all the pendulums are swinging in perfect, unified lockstep

Because it takes less energy for nature to operate in harmony than in opposition, the tiny vibrations traveling through the floorboards and walls eventually force the individual clocks to synchronize. This is entrainment in its purest mechanical form—the stronger, more stable oscillator always pulls the chaotic or weaker oscillators into its rhythm.

From Lucky People Center International (1998), documentary directed by Erik Pauser and Johan Söderberg.

The film is a hypnotic, music-driven collage that travels across 20+ countries to explore global spirituality, human consciousness, and rave culture at the turn of the millennium. Instead of a traditional narrative, the directors edited the entire documentary to a pulsing electronic soundtrack, turning global voices and rituals into a unified musical rhythm

This is also a great way to do it while your awareness is heightened: you can manifest your visualization and place yourself directly into that vision, having that exact experience. I'll use a rave, for example. I want to put myself into the rave, living in that moment. I'll begin to feel my emotions, feel the ground shaking, as the speakers are vibrating the whole stage and floor. Feel your body temperature rising with great warmth and love, in a space where no one is watching or casting judgment on you. Do this with your eyes closed and headphones on, in a calm environment where you feel safe. Begin to feel and actually become the room/hologram you created.

It can be helpful to go to the Methods tab to learn how to clear the mind, or use breathwork to bring focus and awareness back into yourself while trying to do this. Then, focus your awareness on your third eye. This is a form of astral projection placing yourself somewhere your physical body isn't and using your mind to create the environment (i.e., music, speakers, DJs, lights, and things that help solidify the visualization, creating the hologram in your mind).

One can try this with their own perception: go back to a time and place where a specific song was being played—like a gig, festival, or party. In that moment, re-create the situation, play that song, and start to visualize your physical placement during the occurrence. As this begins you may begin to remember move information the more you create or be fed information back about this time.

What helped me navigate going back into different times was understanding a non-linear timeline. Our past, present, and future are all occurring at this very moment.

But it's important not to attach emotionally to either of them, past or future. You're simply going to the past to re-experience an event. If you begin to get pulled away from the experience by a past situation or conversation—i.e., “I was with this guy then,” or “Omg, I was friends with this person then”—you drop and let go of the visualization, or continue if you're comfortable enough. It's vital that you hold the Observer aspect and don't get caught up within the stories of these visions. If you do, journal the experience or visions and talk to yourself about how it made you feel and why it pulled you away from the experience.

Interestingly, this is nothing new to the mind, as we experience a non-linear timeline every single night. When your logical prefrontal cortex goes offline during sleep, your mind detaches from linear time. We ascend to higher states of consciousness during our dream states.

Like the information I gave about PTSD (Hue-man) tab, it’s the ultimate biological demonstration of non-linear time. To a soldier experiencing a flashback, the year on the calendar becomes completely irrelevant. His timeline completely folds in on itself as he's subconsciously unaware of what's going on within his mind, body and soul.

Also, this method is used as cognitive interviewing: a legitimate, non-hypnotic investigative method. Profilers guide victims and witnesses to mentally reconstruct an event. This relies on context reinstatement, where remembering the sights, sounds, and emotions of a specific moment helps unlock repressed details. We are flipping this method into a form of “Playful exploration.”

Start with this, much lighter introduction to trance, easier to focus and hold attention while listening.
Trance has over 34 subgenres, they range from 120 BPM all the way up to 200+ BPM. So find out what suits you best!

Beyond Trance

After Trance, I moved back to exploring other genres; which reached the same level of elevation as Rock, Heavy Metal, and others. During instrumental breaks while playing guitar my mind, influenced by those trance states, began to guide me to become the musical notes being produced.

“You aren’t the physical body”; you are the sound, frequency, and vibration. You have to become the sound itself. You may have visualized yourself in the past as the guitarist—i.e., Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, or John Frusciante but try shifting your awareness to the visualization of becoming the actual sine wave creating the notes and sounds.

The background features a blue geometric pattern.

Process 2: Dropping the Narrative
Acknowledge you are not the physical body, drop all stories and current narratives you’ve attached youself to. Let go of the logical thinking mind and that your Past Present and Future self are all occuring at this very present moment.

Process 1: The Seat of Concentration
You get into a meditative state, drop awareness from the lower body and place it onto the third eye.
(between the eyebrows, slightly above the bridge of the nose)
Also known as “Seat of concertration” in Hindu Yoga tradition.

Process 3: Visualizing the Frequency
Begin to visualise the sine waves within your minds eye.
Visualise as if you can see the waves being emitted from the instrument out into the physical world.

But as I learned, the hard way, raising your awareness is great and helpful, but it's also extremely important to fall back down into the lower body/lower Chakras (physical). As spending too long in the higher Chakras will create a distortion within the body, If you do not understand the journey of the Chakras and what they corrospond with. You can very easiley throw them off balance, or create bloackages, And may begin to neglect certain aspects of Self.
In the previous tab “Hue-man” I clipped a recorded interview with Itzhak Bentov.

  • “Because these individuals have spontaneous, advanced openings of their senses (raised awareness), they experience a completely expanded reality that they can't always safely integrate into daily life.”

  • “If they can integrate this expanded perception, they become the great geniuses of history, like Isaac Newton or Charles Darwin. If they can't, society treats them as schizophrenic or psychotic and uses heavy medication or electroshock to force their perception back into the normal narrow box.”

When I read narrow box, It reminded me of something I use to say to myself.
You watch a box, inside a box room, in a box house. You’ll eventually think like a box.

I speak from my present level of ignorance, because ignorance grows exponentially. The more answers you get, the more questions there are to ask.
